Claw

Werewolf form uses a Claw

Not a spell in the traditional sense. CLAW doesn’t need incantations, circles, or reagents. It’s muscle memory burned into the werewolf’s cursed blood.

Lore

Every werewolf learns it on their first full transformation. When the beast takes over, the hands remember what the human mind tries to forget — how to let the claws extend beyond the flesh.

Old packs call it “The First Lesson.” Young wolves use it to mark territory on concrete and steel. Older ones use it to cut through wards, car doors, and other supernaturals. It’s not magic that summons claws — it’s rage shaped into an edge. The blue-white aftertrail you see in the air isn’t light, it’s the air itself screaming where the Veil was torn.

In the modern city, CLAW is essential. Guns jam. Spells get counterspelled by hunters. But a physical action can’t be dispelled.

“You don’t cast Claw. You let it happen.” — Marta of the Southside Pack.
